Red Agave Resort

Venue guide | Wedding Editorial

Sedona, Arizona, has long been a haven for couples seeking a wedding that feels both adventurous and deeply rooted in natural beauty. For this editorial at Red Agave Resort, I wanted to bring to life the spirit of Sedona’s iconic red rocks while infusing the day with refined elegance and vintage charm.

One of the biggest advantages of Red Agave Resort is that it feels secluded while still being incredibly convenient. Guests can stay on-site, enjoy easy access to Sedona's famous hiking trails, and experience the beauty of the desert without needing to travel far between events. The venue's relaxed atmosphere allows couples to create a wedding weekend that feels personal, adventurous, and connected to the landscape.

Ceremony Spaces & Capacity

Red Agave Resort specializes in intimate celebrations and smaller weddings. The property's ceremony lawn features breathtaking views of Bell Rock and Courthouse Butte, creating a naturally beautiful backdrop that requires very little additional décor. Whether you're planning a simple elopement with just the two of you or a wedding surrounded by your closest family and friends, the venue offers a flexible space that feels both private and welcoming.

The resort is best suited for small to medium-sized celebrations, making it an excellent choice for couples who prioritize meaningful experiences over large guest counts. Because capacity and event options can change, it's always best to contact the venue directly for the most current information regarding guest limits and event packages.

Pricing & Wedding Weekend Experience

One reason many couples choose Red Agave Resort is the ability to turn their wedding into a full weekend experience. Rather than hosting a ceremony at one location and lodging somewhere else, couples can stay on-site with family and friends and enjoy multiple days together in Sedona. Wedding pricing varies based on guest count, season, accommodations, and venue rental needs, but many couples find it to be one of the more affordable private venue options in Sedona compared to larger luxury resorts.

Because Sedona is a year-round destination, Red Agave Resort is particularly popular during spring and fall when temperatures are mild and the red rocks are at their most vibrant. Sunset ceremonies are especially beautiful, as the surrounding cliffs glow with warm shades of orange and red.

THE EDITORIAL

The bride’s look was effortlessly chic, blending the natural with the elegant. Her flowing gown moved with the desert breeze, while the soft, neutral makeup by @seventhavenuebeauty enhanced her natural beauty. The romantic styling allowed her to truly shine in this desert setting, seamlessly connecting with the landscape around her.

The florals by @lilyluxefloral were thoughtfully crafted to complement the surrounding landscape. Subtle, yet impactful, the bouquet featured muted tones and soft textures that elevated the entire shoot, adding dimension and luxury while still feeling organic and earthy. This balance of elegance and rugged desert tones created a perfect harmony.

We incorporated vintage touches throughout, especially in the carefully selected rentals from @onehundredchairs. The natural wood chairs and subtle decor created a warm, welcoming atmosphere, allowing the landscape to remain the star while also adding a touch of sophistication.

The models, @alvaandamor, brought the vision to life with their genuine connection and authentic chemistry. Their easy laughter and gentle moments created an intimate, emotional narrative that felt real and deeply moving—exactly the kind of romance that Sedona inspires.
