Loveland Ski Resort - Your Perfect Colorado vENUE
There’s something truly magical about fall in the Colorado mountains — golden aspens glowing under the crisp alpine sun, and snow just beginning to dust the highest peaks. Tim and Monica’s wedding at Loveland Ski Resort captured all of that beauty and more. Their day was filled with warmth, laughter, and a deep connection to the place they’ve loved for years.
Loveland has always held a special meaning for these two. After spending countless winter days skiing at Loveland Ski Area, it only made sense for them to return to this beloved mountain to say “I do.” Their ceremony and reception took place at the Loveland Ski Valley Lodge, a cozy and scenic venue that perfectly reflects the charm of the Colorado high country. (You can learn more about hosting weddings there at Loveland Ski Resort Weddings.)
The Perfect Fall Setting
The colors could not have been more perfect. The surrounding mountains were dotted with gold and amber hues, and a gentle mountain breeze added the perfect sense of romance to their day. Before their ceremony, we took a short drive up to Loveland Pass for portraits — one of my favorite spots for breathtaking mountain photos. With panoramic views and endless alpine backdrops, it was the perfect way to end a day that already felt like a dream.
The Details that Made It Personal
Every part of this wedding was meaningful and personal. Their coordinator, Sage McCririck, provided through the venue, helped bring everything together seamlessly. The florals were created by Heather Reese, Monica’s maid of honor, and Jason Cappiela, Tim’s groomsman — making the arrangements even more special. Monica did her own hair and makeup, which added another personal touch to the morning preparations.
Monica’s stunning gown was a Justin Alexander design, purchased at The Bridal Collection in Centennial, CO. The timeless silhouette fit the mountain setting beautifully. Tim and his groomsmen wore accessories from Brackish — including a handcrafted bow tie and unique feather pins, adding a touch of southern charm to their Rocky Mountain celebration. And to top it all off, both the bride and groom wore custom hats from Gem Hats in Denver, adding a fun, Western-inspired element to their look.
A Day Filled with Warmth and Love
From heartfelt vows to laughter echoing through the lodge, this day was a celebration of love, friendship, and shared history. Tim and Monica’s connection to Loveland made every part of their wedding feel personal and intentional — a reflection of who they are and what they love.
If you’ve been dreaming of a Colorado mountain wedding with sweeping views, local charm, and a venue that feels authentically “you,” a Loveland Ski Resort wedding might just be the perfect fit.
